Create a pair of statement Salal leaf beaded earrings  inspired by the forests of the Pacific Northwest. In this step-by-step tutorial, you will use intermediate beading techniques to construct each leaf in two mirrored halves, then join them along the center vein to create a slightly ruffled form.

While specific bead sizes and colours are used in this tutorial, the techniques can be adapted to different colours and bead sizes. Whether you're an intermediate beader or an ambitious beginner looking to expand your skills, this project will guide you through a slow, methodical process, resulting in a finished pair of earrings measuring approximately 2.75” (70 mm) long x 2.5” (64 mm) wide.

A pair of earrings will take roughly 6+ hours to make.
